                             Club History

The Club began as an unused go-cart course in the early 70s with five shooters, a Coleman stove to cook bacon and eggs, and a hand trap to throw birds.

Roxbury Valley Trap Club, Inc. has continually held Sunday open shooting and league trap since it was incorporated in 1975. The Club is known for its Winter Trap Leagues, chicken BBQs, family atmosphere and as a friendly place for new shooters. Facilities are open to the public on Sundays except holiday Sundays and the members-only Fun Day in September.

Al Lien found two back patches (right) that his brother designed for the club back in the late '70s (we estimate). We don't know when this historic patch was replaced by the current patch/logo (see top of page).
